Winter Newsletter 2026 - Fertility
Stepping Into the New - Fertility and Natural Conception.
Every experience and every step we take has value.
Steps taken with doubt slow us down or even stop us in our tracks.
We have the opportunity to reset, recharge and resume our journey in any moment, with the trust and faith to move forward to achieve what we want in our lives with maybe a few surprises. ✨
It’s been a joy and privilege to witness men and women of all ages move towards and achieve their health and wellbeing goals over the last few months.
Inspired by this I have taken my own steps forward to expand the services I provide.
A personal Story, both medical and spiritual ending with a bottle of Grange! ✨
I suffered the excruciating pain, exhaustion and isolation of Endometriosis from puberty until menopause, that is… most of my life.
I had been interested in health and wellbeing from an early age, marveling at the at the happiness my grandmother and mother brought home after their visits with the family doctor. 💫
The day after I finished secondary school I joined a Hindu Ashram (the 1st in WA), where I practiced yoga and meditation while exploring everything I could about health and wellbeing. At the same time I continued my studies to become a teacher.
My keen interest in health, wellbeing and the environment drew me ‘incidentally’ to become aware of dietary, lifestyle and environmental issues that can impact on health and potentially fertility. This was before the internet, and IVF was still in its infancy, so I was in the ‘right place to talk to the right people, and find the right books, at the right time’.
In addition to the Endometriosis, I needed reproductive surgery in my 30’s and the standard procedure was a hysterectomy. I looked 6 months pregnant with a huge fibroid and 2 ovarian cysts. The gynaecologist I chose was a compassionate man and counselled that I should prepare for the worst. I had faith in him and trusted he would be guided towards the best possible outcome.
I continued to meditate and relaxed using my breathing skills and knew that I would be fine. On the day of my surgery my doctor’s best friend, also a gynaecologist, was walking by the hospital and decided to pop in to ‘observe’ my surgery.
My gynaecologist was inspired to try a new technique with his friend and I was one of the first women to have a keyhole (laparoscopic) myomectomy and cystectomy in Western Australia (rather than the routine hysterectomy).
This surgery involves the removal of the cyst/s while leaving the healthy ovarian tissue and the ovary itself intact, allowing my hormones and fertility to be technically preserved.
Perhaps the gynaecologist felt it was worth the risk as I was potentially unable to conceive and have a successful pregnancy or, was inspired by his compassion to find a solution. Either way I am eternally grateful!
Faith or belief in what cannot yet be seen, is an important part of moving forward and creating the ‘new’ in life.💫
🌼…a Few Years Later, I married…
In addition to practicing meditation, using breathing techniques and homeopathy I successfully conceived my son and then my daughter.
During my pregnancy with my son, I experienced two threatened miscarriages before going on to have a healthy full-term birth.
My experience inspired further study and ultimately, to support other women through their own fertility journeys.
🌸Today, after many years in natural health practice, it feels like the right time to bring together my personal experience, professional training and passion for supporting fertility into a dedicated program for couples seeking to conceive.
I now offer an Integrative Program that combines contemporary fertility knowledge with the insights and approaches that supported me during my own journey. 🌸
Supporting The Fertility Journey, Naturally
Face-Face and Online Sessions Available
🌿The path to parenthood is unique for every individual and couple. Whether you are just beginning to think about starting a family, trying to conceive for some time, or preparing for assisted reproductive treatment, taking a proactive approach to reproductive health can make a meaningful difference.
Many women choose to delay pregnancy while pursuing their careers, further education or their life goals. While this is increasingly common, it is important to understand that both egg quantity and egg health naturally decline with age, which can influence fertility and the likelihood of a successful pregnancy.
Male reproductive health is equally important. Male factors contribute to approximately half of all cases where couples experience difficulty conceiving. Even when a semen analysis is considered normal, there may still be opportunities to optimise sperm health and support fertility.
The encouraging news is that our understanding of fertility continues to grow. Advances in reproductive medicine, together with evidence-informed natural healthcare, provide more options than ever before to support reproductive health.
A personalised natural health program focuses on optimising overall health, identifying factors that may influence fertility, and supporting the body in preparation for conception. Whether the goal is to conceive naturally or alongside assisted reproductive treatment, my aim is to provide compassionate, individualized care that supports the couple throughout their journey. 🌿
